 I was doing my normal web surfing rounds when I came across a picture of the 90s girl group TLC. To say they were trendsetters is not enough. TLC created a movement that said girls can be pretty without skintight clothing and heavy makeup. They made it okay for us to not have to worry about the standards in America that said women had to look a certain way to be beautiful.What I love about them is that they set their own standards with their multiple layers of shirts and their condom covered eyes. They each created  their own styles but managed to stay cohesive at the same time. Thank you TLC for breaking down the so called "pretty" barriers.
